Supreme Court Issues Stern Warning to Eradicate Corruption

The Supreme Court administration has issued special directives to ensure security and official discipline within the court premises. A notification signed by Registrar General Muhammad Habibur Rahman Siddiki on Wednesday, January 8, emphasized punctuality, professionalism, and integrity among officials.

The notification states that all officers and employees must be present in the office by 9:00 AM. Leaving the office without permission, late attendance, or negligence of duty will be considered "misconduct," and departmental action will be taken against those involved. It is mandatory to remain at one's designated desk during office hours, keep work updated, and wear the prescribed formal attire.

Regarding security, participating in any processions, meetings, slogans, or demonstrations within the court premises is prohibited. Additionally, carrying weapons, explosives, or narcotics is strictly forbidden, and vehicles must be parked in designated areas. All staff members have also been instructed to keep their ID cards visible at all times.

The Supreme Court administration is following a "Zero Tolerance" policy against corruption. Engaging in financial transactions with service seekers or accepting unethical benefits is strictly prohibited. Section heads and Deputy Registrars have been tasked with immediate supervision and monitoring. These directives are effective immediately.
